Donation of Cows to Keko Remand Prison

This past Saturday, on 25th July, Utu Kwanza donated three milk cows to the Keko Remand Prison in Dar es Salaam. These cows shall provide milk, primarily to women and children, as well as to those who are ill. This shall assist to promote improved nutrition and health amongst these groups.

This donation was possible through the generous monetary contribution from Assalam Foundation, a Turkish organization. The Utu Kwanza team was then able to purchase and transport the cows from Mvomero and Kilosa to Dar es Salaam.

Utu Kwanza strives to continue to support prisons through its work. The organisation shall advocate for human dignity by enhancing the community’s quality of life, as per its mission.
